Position Summary:
Job Title: Warehouse Manager
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM; every other Saturday, 8 AM – 12 PM
Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
We’re looking for a Warehouse Manager to take full ownership of warehouse operations at our Smith St. branch. This role is key to keeping the warehouse running smoothly, safely, and efficiently. While you won’t directly manage a team, you’ll act as the go-to person for all warehouse activities, making decisions that impact workflow, inventory accuracy, and operational excellence. This position also includes assisting with deliveries, so a valid driver’s license is required.
What You’ll Do:
Own the warehouse: Drive daily operations to ensure smooth, accurate, and safe workflow
Receive and manage inventory: Inspect, stock, and organize incoming materials and products
Pick, pack, and prepare orders: Ensure every order is accurate and ready for delivery or pickup
Assist with deliveries: Safely transport orders to customers as needed
Operate equipment safely: Use forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse tools efficiently
Maintain organization and safety: Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and compliant with all safety protocols
Audit inventory: Perform regular cycle counts, identify discrepancies, and implement solutions
Optimize processes: Spot opportunities to improve efficiency and implement workflow enhancements
Be the go-to resource: Assist customers and delivery drivers, support team members, and collaborate with management on operational decisions
What We’re Looking For:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Proven warehouse experience with responsibility for operational oversight
Valid driver’s license required
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. regularly
Forklift certification or willingness to obtain training
Basic math and computer skills
Detail-oriented, dependable, and self-motivated
