Job Overview:
The Infrastructure and Network Administrator is responsible for the implementation, maintenance, and support of the organization's IT infrastructure and network systems. This role ensures optimal performance, security, and reliability of the network and associated hardware and software.

Key Responsibilities:
Network Administration:
Monitor and maintain network performance, including LAN, WAN, and VPN connections.
Configure and troubleshoot network devices such as routers, switches, firewalls, and access points.
Manage network security measures, including firewalls and intrusion detection systems.
System Administration:
Manage and maintain servers (physical and virtual), including operating systems, software applications, and backups.
Ensure system availability, reliability, and security through routine monitoring and maintenance.
Implement updates, patches, and upgrades for server and network equipment.
User Support:
Provide technical support for users related to network and infrastructure issues.
Assist in the setup, configuration, and troubleshooting of end-user devices (desktops, laptops, printers, etc.).
Create and maintain user accounts and permissions in relevant systems.
Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain accurate documentation for network configurations, processes, and procedures.
Generate reports on network performance, security incidents, and system availability.
Assist in the development of IT policies and procedures.
Collaboration:
Work with IT team members and other departments to identify and implement technology solutions that enhance operational efficiency.
Assist in project planning and execution for network and infrastructure upgrades or expansions.
Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
Experience:
2-4 years of experience in network and system administration.
Familiarity with both Windows and Linux server environments is preferred.
Skills:
Strong understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc.).
Experience with network monitoring tools and security protocols.
Proficient in troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Working Conditions:
May require occasional after-hours support for maintenance and upgrades.
