We are looking for an experienced Payroll/Human Resources Assistant to join our Human Resources Department. In this position, you will be responsible for processing payroll and providing administrative support to the Human Resources Department.
Payroll/Human Resources Assistant
Manage all aspects of payroll by processing weekly and bi-weekly payroll using Paycom payroll software. Must maintain the highest level of confidentiality.
Payroll Job Duties:
Processes payroll in a timely manner.
Investigates and corrects payroll discrepancies.
Enters and processes payroll deductions, wage garnishments, involuntary court-ordered payments.
Assist employees with questions regarding pay discrepancies and any payroll related questions.
Enters all PTO and leaves of absence requests into payroll system.
Processes all rate changes, new hire, terminations and benefit deduction changes.
Human Resources Specialist job duties:
Responsible for a variety of administrative duties including:
Maintain accurate employee personnel records, files and information, in compliance with legal requirements.
Employee on-boarding; new hire paperwork.
Employee benefit administration - benefit plan enrollments, disability claim processing, FMLA, PFL as well as other related leaves. reconciliation of monthly invoices, open enrollment, COBRA, etc.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Education, Skills and Experience:
At least 3 years of payroll and human resources experience
Strong computer skills
Strong interpersonal skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Must be able to handle confidential information with discretion
