Multi location regional distributor is looking for a Corporate Controller. This position is located in our North Tonawanda central office, will report to the Finance and Operations Manager and oversee day to day accounting operations and all facets of accounting and finance. Prior experience with inventory and taxes is preferred as well as strong GL experience. Ability to multi task is necessary. Job Duties:
Manage the general ledger and oversee month, quarter and year-end close process
Assist with process and policy improvements and strengthening efficiencies
Assist with budgeting and forecasting
Manage inventory and cost accounting to ensure accuracy
Assist with financial reporting and ad hoc projects as needed
Responsible for managing over 10 individuals in the accounting department
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
5+ years of Public and/or private accounting experience
Management and supervisory experience
Experience in manufacturing, distribution, consumer products, or wholesale industry preferred
