Auto Mechanic

Job Summary:

As an Automotive Mechanic at Irr Supply, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of vehicles, ensuring they operate efficiently and safely. Your expertise will help keep our vehicles in top condition.

Pay will be commensurate with experience, skills and qualifications.

Key Responsibilities:

Diagnostic Expertise: Utilize advanced diagnostic tools and techniques to identify complex mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues in vehicles.
Repair and Maintenance: Perform major repairs and maintenance tasks on engines, transmissions, brakes, steering, suspension, HVAC systems, and other vehicle components.
Component Replacement: Replace or repair defective parts and components with precision, ensuring optimal vehicle performance.
Electrical Systems: Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, including wiring, sensors, and electronic modules like ECUs and ABS systems.
Technical Skillset: Apply advanced mechanical skills and knowledge of automotive systems to deliver high-quality repairs and maintenance services.
Quality Assurance: Ensure all repairs meet manufacturer specifications and industry standards, maintaining safety and reliability.
Collaborative Teamwork: Work closely with other technicians, manager and administrative assistant to coordinate repairs and maintain efficient workflow in the shop.
Documentation: Accurately document all repairs, parts used, and diagnostic findings for vehicle records and warranty purposes.


Requirements:

Proven experience as an Auto Mechanic
Must have own tools/toolbox
Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs. and work on your feet for up to 8 hours a day
Certification from an accredited automotive technical school or equivalent experience.
Advanced diagnostic skills with proficiency in using diagnostic tools and software.
Strong knowledge of automotive systems and components.
Ability to perform complex repairs with precision and efficiency.
Excellent communication and service skills.
Detail-oriented with a focus on quality workmanship and safety.
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.


Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour
Hours: 40 per week, Monday- Friday 7:30am-4:30pm
