We are seeking an Accounting Specialist to join our dedicated team at Irr Supply Centers, Inc. This role is responsible for a variety of complex job duties within the Accounting Department. This role requires a strong understanding of general accounting principles.
Regions Available:
Niagara County
Key Responsibilities:
· Manage and maintain the general ledger
· Prepare and post journal entries
· Perform reconciliations of accounts
· Assist in the preparation of financial statements
· Ensure accurate and timely month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes
· Analyze financial data and generate reports
· Support controller with yearend audit
· Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting
· Maintain compliance with accounting standards and regulations
Qualifications and Skills:
· Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field preferred, prior accounting experience required.
· Experience working in an ERP system
· Ability to navigate and work in Excel proficiently
· Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
· High degree of professionalism and attention to detail
· Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
